Anodising is an environmentally friendly metal finishing process. As a water-based process, it does not omit any VOC’s. There are no vehicle solvents, no carrier resins or any pigments used in anodizing. The richer metallic appearance is created by extremely small amounts of dye securely locked within the hard surface. No halogenated hydrocarbons or similar toxic organics are used.
Neutralization reduces majority of the anodizing chemicals to common dissolved minerals which are environmentally valuable in removing pollutants and settling solids in the domestic sewage treatment process.

Powder coating is a process whereby dry powder is applied directly onto the metals’ surface creating a type of coating. The powdered particles are applied electrostatically, also known as e-coating. Once the powder has been accelerated toward the metal by the electrostatic charge, it is then baked in an industrial curing oven to allow the dry powder to flow and create a coating.
